“Airtime Trampoline and Game Park locations in Novi and Troy will be collecting pairs of new mittens and gloves of all sizes for Mittens for Detroit now through Jan. 31, 2017.

Employees hope to collect at least 2,500 pairs of gloves and mittens to warm the hands of at least 5,000 children and adults facing the bitter chill of winter in Detroit.

“Our goal is to warm a minimum of 5,000 hands and hearts this holiday season,” said John Zebari, operating partner of AirTime in Troy. “Mittens for Detroit fulfills a great need, and this is a simple way for people to make a real difference in the lives of local children and adults. A lot of families are already heading to AirTime to get out of the cold and away from the holiday frenzy to enjoy some good healthy fun indoors. With a multitude of stores near all of our locations, we’re asking people to consider picking up an extra pair of mittens or gloves on their way or while they’re out doing their holiday shopping, and drop them in one of our donation boxes to help us warm as many hands as possible.”” – TheOaklandPress.com
